JOE HOLDSWORTH :: PHOTOGRAPHER

Joe has been directed his photography skills to still life, be it soft goods, hard goods or food.

Joe’s interest in photography was first piqued in high school when his mother gifted him her Pentax K100. Countless hours of shooting film and hours in the darkroom laid the foundation for him to hone his craft technically and be artistically challenged.

Over the years, assisting jobs led to shooting jobs and shooting jobs led to management positions within busy commercial studios around Seattle. Eventually Joe set out on his own, started his own business and found his way to New York, the epicenter of photography.

Since being in the city, Joe has learned a few things: That an empty train car is empty for a reason, to always look both ways and to never get between a New Yorker and their pizza.
